Social Security Office Moves to Suisun City

The Social Security Administration recently announced that it was moving it's Fairfield office to Suisun City's Waterfront District, and the office would be open starting Monday March 8.

Here's their announcement:
After 9 years on Hilborn Road, Social Security is moving its Fairfield office to temporary space less than 5 miles away at One Harbor Center, 380 Main St., Suite 150, Suisun City, CA 94585. >>Click for map>>

District Manager Janet Rohrssen said “The new office will open Monday, March 8 at 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Beginning March 9, the hours of operation will be 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is plenty of free parking.”

The Fairfield-Suisun Transit (FAST) Route 5 and the Rio Vista Delta Breeze Route 50 stop at the Suisun City Amtrak station, which is located across Main Street from One Harbor Center.

A trip to the new office may not be necessary since most Social Security business can be handled online or by telephone. Check www.socialsecurity.gov to file a claim for benefits online, find general information, or download forms. You may also call Social Security toll-free at 1-800-772-1213 or 1-800-325-0778 (TTY) from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to take care of most Social Security business or to make an appointment at the Harbor Center office.
We welcome the Social Security Administration to Suisun City for however long its stay may be, and invite everyone doing business in the facility to enjoy the Waterfront District!
